Where I am & Where I Want to go; What I have & What I Want #NewYearConBritax

Dandelion wish

Sponsored PostI don’t really make resolutions at the start of a new year. I make assessments. I reflect on where I am and where I would like to go. I think of what I have and what I would like. This year what I want is more and less. Ha!

I want more free time and less work. I love my work, I really do, but I worked my butt off last year and I’m ready to slow down a bit. Last year I worked hard to help my family get in a better place financially. This year, I want to enjoy where we are.

It’s actually a beautiful place to be. I’m at a place where I can say no to extra work without feeling guilty. I’m at a place where I can say yes to more fun and time with my family.

I’m going to tell you something that I don’t often talk about here because well, it seems like bragging and maybe it is, but right now I’m going to tell you about it in the name of gratitude. I have the most beautiful family you can imagine. In fact my family is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I certainly don’t know what I did to deserve them, but I’ll tell you what, I don’t take my good fortune for granted. How could I? I want to go places with my beautiful family. I want to have adventures with them for the rest of my life.

So that’s where I am and where I would like to go. Now a little on what I have and what I want.

I tell you about the material objects I want because I know that will help manifest them in my life.

We need a new car, doesn’t have to be new, jut new to us. Our second car is ready to retire and as much as we would like to be a one car family, we’re just not there. To go with this new or new to us car, I would also like new Britax car seats to go with it. These do in fact have to be new because people, you should not use someone else’s used car seats. I know these things will find their way to me. I’ll let you know when they do.

Where are you and where do you want to go? What do you have and what do you want?

I want to write full time.
    I want to serve.
I want to be what God desires.
    That’s precisely what I “Want.”
    Luv U. xx

I, too, would just like to live my life for a while, instead of my life living me. Especially after hitting the Big 5-0, I recognize how important that is. One of these days, things will settle down.

I do not know what 2014 will hold, however, I know it will be amazing!
