On a wet and foggy Sunday morning, we headed over to Tilden Regional Park to take a ride on the Redwood Valley Railway aboard a scaled-down steam train. I highly recommend the experience. Children under two are free and everyone one else pays $3 or you can get a 5 ride family ticket for $12. It’s totally worth it.

I remember hearing about Tilden Park when I lived in Concord but I don’t think I ever visited it. My memory isn’t perfect, though. I must ask my sisters if they remember going. It looks like a fun ride! My week was highlighted by my day at Epcot thoroughly exploring Japan. It was just so beautiful!

Interesting. In the first photo I thought it was train only for little ones, but it looks like adults enjoy it too. Love the tall redwoods.
