Redwood Valley Railway (Sundays In My City)

Steam Train at Tilden Park

Redwood Valley Railway

Train Ticket being punched

Tilden Regional Park

On a wet and foggy Sunday morning, we headed over to Tilden Regional Park to take a ride on the Redwood Valley Railway aboard a scaled-down steam train. I highly recommend the experience. Children under two are free and everyone one else pays $3 or you can get a 5 ride family ticket for $12. It’s totally worth it.

I remember hearing about Tilden Park when I lived in Concord but I don’t think I ever visited it. My memory isn’t perfect, though. I must ask my sisters if they remember going. It looks like a fun ride! My week was highlighted by my day at Epcot thoroughly exploring Japan. It was just so beautiful!

Interesting. In the first photo I thought it was train only for little ones, but it looks like adults enjoy it too. Love the tall redwoods.

Back to SIMC and I’m happy to discover another place where to take the kids next time I’m in Cali.

We have quite a few of these little trains running in the UK. They are fun no matter how old you are
