Sombrewo: A Sombrero for Your Tea

Sombrero for your tea

My Dearest Hijos/as/x de la Chanclada, my flying chancla and I are always on the lookout for culturally relevant things to share with you. Well, hold on to your nalgas because we found a freakin’ sombrero for your tea and if that’s not culturally relevant then we don’t know what is!

FYI, this post contains affiliate links, which means I’ll make a small commission – at no extra cost to you – if you purchase something.

A sombrero for your tea

Yes, it is a silicone sombrero tea infuser called Sombrewo and it is EVERYTHING you never knew your tea needed. Before you roll your eyes and click away all, “I don’t need no stinkin’ tea sombrero” just wait a second because YES YOU DO and so does your mamá, your tía and your abuela.

Why?

Because not only does this sombrero make your tea look all chingon and stuff, it’s also totally functional and makes tea cleanup a breeze.

How?

Got loose leaf tea you wanna brew. Stick it into the crown of the sombrero, attach the brim and then dunk the sombrero crown-down into a hot cup of water. When your tea is ready, you simply flip the sombrero over and put it on the table. The brim of the sombrero holds the excess liquid that drips and keeps your table clean.

And if you don’t know what size sombrero your cup wears, no worries. I’m thinking one size fits most cups.

Buy it!

Are you sold yet? You should totally stock up on them and give them out as gifts. Do it! They cost $15 on Amazon.
