Oddly, I see these signs frequently and have never given them a second thought. Thanks a lot. Now I’ll giggle every time I see them. I see a greeting card with this on the front, how about you?
Do you know how much I adore you? Thanks for the laugh! I can also identify with that “most people see it as ____, but I see it as a blog post” – it takes a special kind of crazy 😉
this reminds of me the day i caught one of my baby brothers (then 5 at the time) on top of a young little girl neighbor friend, humping her!!!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh, i was so mortified, i ran downstairs and told on him. what i should have done was giggled and just separated them!
Major congrats on putting that together and having the honor of lunching with the 1st lady. Many women would have loved to be in your shoes and dress! You look soooooo young in that 2nd picture! Off to look at the pictures! Thanks for sharing.
We think alike!!! I see a blog post too. Just catching up and glad to see you had a fun Halloween. Put Pie looked adorable and I’m sure her bag was filled with goodies! xoxo jj

We call them Speed Bumps in the UK, is that less suggestive?
unknownmami says
That’s what we call them here too. I’ve never heard of them referred to as “humps” before. That’s why it caught me off guard.
Ericka Sanchez says
Sometimes you gotta fit it in anyway you can. 😛
Sara says
LMAO!! Sounds like an order…probably going to be a long back up behind that sign.

I have a picture I took in London of a sign that says “Humps 1/2 mi”. My friend and I cracked up when we saw it.
Thebipolardiva says
it’s funny you posted this! I was just driving in a neighborhood today and saw a sign like that. Usually here they’re always “speed bump.” lol
unknownmami says
Right?! I’ve only ever seen speed “bump” signs, not humps.
MommyLisa says
OMG too funny.

Hahaha, the person putting this sign up must’ve been laughing real hard.
Mona AlvaradoFrazier says
Lol, you are too funny and always ready with the camera. What do you do when the sign says Dip Ahead?
unknownmami says
Oh no, now I’m going to have dirty thoughts when it says Dip Ahead and it will be all your fault

I generally prefer more of a slow hump. To each his own!
unknownmami says
I like my humps slow too.
