End of Summer Pie (Sundays In My City)

Homemade pie

It’s the last weekend of the summer. How the funk did summer break go by so quickly? Come Monday, our two daughters will be at school. What better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a homemade pie?

Hubby made a peach and strawberry pie. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but he also grew the peaches that are in the pie. I married a man who loves to grow food and cook it. How lucky am I?

That’s so cool. we need to get some gardening of some sort going up here, but the ground is so hard, dry, and rocky. Also, my husband does the cooking and I do the baking. That your husband is the grower and the baker is pretty awesome, indeed!

I don’t know either when summer has gone. Children are going to school and slowly autumn is coming.
Thank you for hosting. Have a great week.
