    Love the top shot especially. We call ladybugs, ladybirds here in the UK, but I’ve never worked out why.

    By the way, here in South India, “Mami” is a generic “Aunt”. As in, one addresses any older lady as “Aunty”. Gross, I know. But that’s how it is. 🙂 In the south, especially Tamil Nadu, where I hail from, it is “Mami”, with Mama being “uncle”

    I love these photos.  The contrast of the red ladybug against the yellow is stunning.  And I love the macro detail too.  What great shots!
