I’m reeling inside from these images, Unknown Mami.  I’d like to find images from my city to share but nothing can compare.

Sob, sob. These pictures made me cry. Reminds me of one picture in a Reader’s Digest issue which had a very young child looking sad behind a fence.

Haunting images.  How cruel can we be as human beings.

On a happier note, I hope you are keeping well.  xxx

What an extraordinary memorial. Can you believe that some people refuse to believe that the holocaust really happened? Unfortunately this is part of history. It is good to keep a perspective on the good and the bad that has happened. Maybe it will help people remember we are all here together.

We did visit a concentration camp at Dachau in Germany. To say that it was disturbing is an understatement!!
I just cannot imagine what it must have been like then…:(

such a terrible and sad event of history.  If you are interested in this tragedy, I recommend the museum in Washington DC. and the short documentary called Paper Clips

These are truly amazing. Some of the best images I’ve seen for a long time. Haunting and awful but also a true reminder of just how evil some people can be.
