That's what my city needs – an ocean. One with a beautiful beach.

Stinson Beach is gorgeous! I haven't been their in years.

It's great how much you and your family get out and around San Francisco. You really take advantage of everything the city has to offer.

Hope your weekend is grand! xo jj

The sand on your beaches is as white as the sand on mine… a whole country apart. We don't have mountains in FLA though, pity that.

Some day I am going to be doing Sundays In My City. I always liked Stinson Beach. I met my first husband in high school and we cut school a couple times and spent the day at Stinson Beach, but don't tell anyone.

Love your town beautiful. Our beach area is not nearly that pretty. Most of it is so commercialized and even the parts that aren't don't have such gorgeous greenery! Thanks for sharing!

I've never been to California. Oh, wait. I was there for a conference once in Palm Desert, but we never left the hotel so it doesn't really count. Looks absolutely beautiful. I'm more a mountains and forest girl than a beach girl. How cool you can get both in one location.

Unfortunately, my camera has not recovered. These pictures were rescued from the memory card. I did get a new inexpensive point and shoot, but alas it is not producing the same quality of images as my old one. I think I need to spend some quality time with the user's manual.

Our beaches are kind of cold, which makes them less crowded than in warmer climates.

What a wonderfully cool spot. My favorite thing about this feature is that it gets you out and about with the fam. Maybe you would be anyway, but this kinda forces the issue. Maybe I need to start participating, but my city is a ghost town on Sundays.

You are so good at not showing their faces. I can't do it. I just want to share their happy little smiles with the world. Great photos anyway. So. Cute.

It has become a habit not to show their faces, so much so that sometimes I need to remind myself to actually photograph their faces for our own family photos. Can you imagine me putting together a family album with no faces? My husband is tired of me telling him to look away from the camera.

You can share pictures on Sunday from another day of the week.

This feature originally started because my husband was aggravated by how much time my blogging was sucking up. Doing this post encourages me to focus on my family and surroundings and I still get a post out of it.
