The Flying Chancla Report

Hola Chulas y Chulos! Howz it smackin’? It’s time for your weekly dose of The Flying Chancla Report. My chancla has made it’s way through the internet to find stories you will give a flying chancla about. What say, you sit back, read and take it like a champ?

Here we go:

• You know how if you speak another language all the people that you know who don’t speak that language want you to teach them how to say curse words in that language? Well, the funny thing about Spanish is that even if you do know how to speak Spanish, you might be accidentally saying curse words because there are so many variations of slang. Like for example, I don’t really use the verb “cojer” because well, people might think I’m talkin’ about doin’ the naughty when what I’m really talkin’ about is just grabbing something. Anyway, I tell you this because the good folks at The Flama put together a video of sin querer queriendo curse words in Spanish and it is spot on. Click play to see what I’m talking about:

• The following piece was sent to me by my buddy and fellow Chanclera, Emily. It is so freakin’ funny, I can barely stand it. You have to speak Spanish to understand it. If you don’t speak Spanish, I almost want to translate the whole thing for you because it’s too wonderful, but I won’t so maybe just send it to a friend that speaks Spanish and they will think you are really cool.
