The Flying Chancla Report

Hola Chulas y Chulos, welcome to another editon of The Flying Chancla Report! Hope you’ve had a great week with no unexpected chanclazos. This week my chancla has scoured the internets to find all sorts of cosas you will give a flying chancla about.

Check it out!

• There comes a point in pregnancy when you are simply done and ready for that baby to come out and you will do just about anything to encourage the onset of labor. This very pregnant woman was told that doing the dance from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” would induce labor, so she went for it. The video in and of itself will give you quite the chuckle because she’s pretty dang good even with a belly that is pretty dang huge, but what’s even more touching is that when she posted the now viral video on YouTube she wrote, “Someone told me that thriller would induce labor. Here I am on my due date 40 weeks, February 11, 2015, looking like a fool…LOL. My Facebook video has 55,000 views after 24 hours, so I thought I would place on YouTube as well. My husband is fighting a battle with Testicular Cancer (just diagnosed a month ago) so it has been difficult emotionally recently. This video really helped as it has caused me to laugh over and over again.” Watch the video, laugh and send some positive thoughts this woman’s way.
  
• You know how when you have a little too much to drink it can act as a sort of truth serum? Well, the good people at BuzzFeed had the brilliant idea to get some moms drunk and have them talk about pregnancy, motherhood and their kids. Pretty funny stuff! Definite must watch. Be warned that there are some f-bombs.
• This beautifully written piece called, “Being Thin Didn’t Make Me Happy, But Being ‘Fat’ Does” might have made my eyes leak a tiny bit.
