There is a petition on Change.org urging Mattel to release and official Selena Quintanilla Barbie doll. My chancla and I have no comment on this we just wanted to let you know about it.

A video of Salma Hayek’s first ever on-camera audition has surfaced and it’s proof that the woman DOES NOT AGE! For reals. She is gorgeous in it with her big ol’ curly hair and she seems so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I find it touching to see this young woman, who states that she has no experience, auditioning in the hopes of launching an acting career when I know that her dreams did in fact come true and that she has been quite successful. Follow your dreams, people, because they can come true!

Wait, I just had an idea! Perhaps Mattel should consider making a Salma Hayek Barbie as well as a Selena Barbie. Just sayin’. And maybe one day they can make a Frida Barbie. I’m kind of kidding. Honestly, I’m one of those NOT Barbie fans, but I gave birth to a Barbie lover so I wouldn’t mind her having access to a Selena, Salma or Frida Barbie.
