Someone really wanted a cool pencil case. What better place to look for one than at Japantown?

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

Share your city/town/suburb/you name it! Think of this as a photography carnival or photography meme (with or without words) that not only lets you share your part of the world, but lets you visit other parts of the world virtually. If you link up, please link back or post the Sundays In My City button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their communities too. Happy trails!

I live in Japan, and I enjoyed your photos of Japantown. You’d be amazed to know how much the Japanese love cherry blossoms.

The Japanese landscape so artistically! In Huntington Library there is a beautiful Japanese Garden. I love the tower you captured! How do you get your photos so big? So, did someone get her color pencils?

Japantown was always one of my favorite places! We used to go there at least once a month. Beautiful pics, as always!

Beautiful – Japan Town. In the third photo – what is near his right hand?

On my few visits to SF I’ve never been to that area. I can make out the words “interned by injustice” on the memorial. The treatment of American Japanese families in WW2 was a sad and unjust act by our government. I’m glad you included the pic.
