Wednesday Wishes

Dandelion for wishingHello, hello, hello! I’m sick, I’m sick, I’m sick! No matter it’s still time to make some Wednesday Wishes. I want to post something that I posted on Facebook first though because it exemplifies why I believe in asking the Universe for what I want on a pretty much constant basis, so here’s what I posted…

Lesson on abundance and why we need to stop judging what we ask for and just ask for it…

Okay, so I want something (I can’t tell you what just yet) and for months I’ve been looking into getting it, but I wasn’t willing to spend what I was being asked to pay. Anyway, cut to the chase…I get an email yesterday for a business opp offering me exactly what it is that I WANT. Can you believe that?

Next….

I work HARD and I love my job, but sometimes the creative well runs dry and today even though it’s raining outside, my well is dry. I decided to let my superiors know that I was having a hard time and BOOM I was given the help and inspiration I needed. Just like that. Awesome!

The point is that sometimes we don’t even think we can ask for what we want because it seems too petty or material or gives a glimpse of our weaknesses…screw that! Allow yourself to want what you want and go on and put it out there into the Universe, in writing or just say it out loud or tell someone who is willing to listen (not because you want them to do anything, but because the mere act of telling someone sets things in motion). Sometimes you don’t just get what you need, sometimes you get what you want because the Universe is THAT abundant.

And now…Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:

1. The end of sniffles. I’m tired of being sick. Please Universe take these sniffles and this coughing and shove them where the sun don’t shine.

2. Some Christmas specials that start before 8:00 p.m. My kids are young and their bedtime is 8:00 p.m., but all these holiday cartoon specials don’t start until then. I’m not about to screw up their whole sleep routine so maybe at least help me find these specials on Netflix or Amazon, ‘kay?

3. More inspiration. I realize that inspiration is all around me, but I’ve been feeling a bit tapped out. I will say that today for the fist time in a long time, something started writing itself in my head without any effort on my part, so thank you for that and keep it coming por please.

That’s it for me!

What are you wishing for?

You can tell me in the comments or you can link up below with a #WednesdayWishes post of your own. It could even be a #WednesdayWishes tweet or Facebook post if that’s more your style, just WISH! If you link up, please link back or post the Wednesday Wishes button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their Wednesday Wishes too.

The Universe is abundant, go on and make a wish! WednesdayWishes-unknownmami

I agree there is an abundance in the universe but some of the abundant stuff I don’t really want. The kids need earlier Christmas specials to watch? What, I thought you could sing and dance.
BTW – you might want to modify your first request. Oh yeah, we don’t want colds and sniffles. However, you don’t want that “coughing” to travel downunder where the sun don’t shine.
