Let’s take a few moments to manifest abundance in our lives shall we? On Wednesdays I’ve made a practice of making Wednesday Wishes to make it clear to the Universe what it is that I would like to attract into my life. I do it on the blog as a way to encourage others to make some wishes as well because the Universe is so abundant that we can all get what we want.
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:
1. I gave myself a haircut and although it’s not horrid, it’s certainly NOT cute. I need to get it fixed, but here’s the thing: I’m embarrassed to go to a stylist. Why? Not because of the bad haircut I gave myself…it’s because I have psoriasis on the back of my neck something bad right now and I’d rather not expose a stranger to it. It’s unsightly and although not contagious I’m sure that someone who doesn’t know anything about it might think I’m some kind of a leper. So here’s what I’m wishing for… I would like my psoriasis to clear up or I would like the courage to walk into a salon and explain my condition to a kind stylist or I would like for my mom to come for a visit from San Diego because she’s a cosmetologist and already knows about my skin issues. See, Universe? I’m totally open to you delivering a killer haircut in a variety of ways.

2. I want to fully embrace the fact that I am NOT my thoughts. I’ve been going to therapy and it’s hard, wonderful, liberating work. One of the things that I really want to embrace is that I am not my thoughts. I know this, but then these sneaky thoughts that I think try to trick me into thinking that I am my thoughts. NO, I’M NOT! I may be the thinker, but I am not the thoughts.
3. Universe, could you please have summer inspire me to eat more fruits and vegetables? I’m not in a good place with my fruits and veggies and I’m hoping that summer will work some magic on me in that area and remind me that not only are fruits and veggies good for me, but I actually like them because they are DELICIOUS!
That’s it for me this week.
What are you wishing for?
Remember, you deserve to be generous with yourself, you deserve to have dreams, you deserve to make wishes and have them granted.
