I PROFOUNDLY believe in the power of wishing, praying, manifesting or whatever the heck you want to call it. Time and time again the Universe has sent things my way simply because I asked for them or focused my intent on them. It would be ungrateful of me not to recognize the abundance and ungracious of me not to pass on the abundance to others. Por eso, every week I make Wednesday Wishes to encourage myself and YOU to ask for what it is that we want out of life. Ready?
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week…
For myself:
- I really, really want to go to our friends’ cabin during spring break. They have kindly invited our entire family and I see it as a gift that I want to wholeheartedly receive, but my husband is concerned about using so many vacation/personal/sick days so early on in the year. Originally, I was going to ask that he see how “right” I am and take the days off to be with us, but I recognize that I am not infallible so instead, Universe, I ask that you make it work out so that we all get what we want-ish. Like maybe the girls and I go for the whole time and he comes for part of it.
- At the end of the month, we will find out what elementary school my youngest daughter got assigned to in the San Francisco Unified School District lottery. Can she pretty, pretty please land a spot in the bilingual immersion program that her sister is in? PLEASE and THANK YOU.

- Universe, I know you know who Deborah Deras is because she is no stranger to manifesting abundance in her life. She may not call you by the same name as I do, but she does call you and she calls on you. Well, howz about we find her an agent to represent her for speaking engagements? - I made a new friend last week while I was at the #WeAllGrow Summit, Yolanda Soto Lopez. She’s killing it on her YouTube All Crafts Channel and has a lot of wisdom to share. Can we find her an agent to help book speaking engagements so she can share some of that knowledge of hers? Gracias.
