Wednesday Wishes

Wednesday Wishes

I believe the Universe is abundant and that’s why I have no shame in asking for what I want. Why shouldn’t I ask? Why shouldn’t you ask? Let’s make some Wednesday Wishes together because wishes have a better chance of coming true if we actually make them.

Here’s what I’m wishing for this week…

For myself…

  • This is not a wish, more of an acknowledgement of a wish granted. I asked earlier this month that my youngest get into the same public school Spanish immersion program that her sister is in and she did!!! I am thrilled and grateful and thank you, thank you, thank you.
  • I’m finding the joy in the little things. This happens for me off and on in life. It’s on right now and I would love it if you could help me keep it on, Universe.

For others…

  • Through no fault of her own, my prima is having some housing difficulties. Can you pretty please help her and her family land in an even better place?
  • Carolyn is wishing for a HUGE lottery win. I’m not opposed to you making that happen, but we all know HUGE means different things to different people so I’m not sure what you’re going to do with those directions. (She amended to say “
  • Audrey wants the end of election news on every station and I told her that wasn’t going to happen, but that perhaps we could wish for better news and news coverage in general.
  • Karen is wishing for kindness. We could all do with some more kindness, Universe. Please and thank you.
  • Laurie is wishing and praying that the Food Bank of Covington has the means to help as many as need help with emergency food and household supplies.
  • My beautiful, kind, creative friend Traci is on the same page as Karen and wishing for more kindness.
  • Bryanne is making a wish for me and I love it!!! She wants me and my family to have a great spring break vacation that inspires us to go to Hawaii because my wonderful husband was born and raised in Hawaii and my daughters and I have never been. Pssst, I’m totally doing some behind the scenes saving to make this happen.
  • Sheryl’s wonderful kitty is having a really hard time health-wise. We are wishing that he gets better, of course, but also that he doesn’t suffer too much pain and discomfort in the meantime. Also, send Sheryl some relief because it’s hard to watch a loved one (furry or not) go through health issues.
  • This wish is for the entire country. Help us, Universe! We seem to have lost our way and I’m scared for us. Protect us from ourselves, our ignorance and our pettiness.

I just loved your list of wishes. For more food at the food bank and that more people do not go hungry! More kindness is what we need badly, and I am tired of hearing all about the Election coverage. It has gotten old. And I wish for my basketball team to win the NCAA tournement. Go Zags!!
