- I’m afraid of getting old and being in pain or having an itch and not being able to scratch it because I’m not flexible.
- I’m afraid of driving because people get killed by cars all the time. I’m pretty sure it happens daily.
- I’m afraid of moths; they are portentous of death and someone once told me that if they fly into your eyes they make you blind
- I’m afraid of cockroaches because one could crawl into my ear and die there. It happened to my aunt.
- I’m afraid of going crazy. What if I’ve already lost my mind and I haven’t noticed?
- I’m afraid of spelling things incorrectly and having people think I’m dum. Really dum when I’m actually kind of smrt.
- I’m afraid of scary movies; they make my butthole hurt.
- I’m afraid of strangers.
- I’m afraid of being held back by all my fears.
- I’m afraid of showing up for an event on the wrong day.
- I’m afraid of losing my hair. I am losing my hair and it sucks. Apparently it happens to lots of women. I never liked my hair as much as I do now that it’s thinning. I have beautiful hair.
- I’m afraid I’ll never book another acting job again. I always do, but I’m always afraid it will never happen again.
- I’m afraid of my daughter becoming a teenager.
- I’m afraid of opening bottles of sparkling wine. I love sparkling wine. It’s a pain in the ass to always have to have someone else open the bottle for me.
- I’m afraid of mice.
- I’m afraid of having dreams about losing my teeth, whenever I do someone dies.
- I’m afraid this list could go on forever.

What are you afraid of?
Be afraid of the dread teenage years. Be very afraid.Life is so calm now that the Son is out on his own, I actually get too much sleep.
I share your fear of strangers – if they stay out of my personal space, they're fine. I just don't want people I don't know touching me (as you can tell, I didn't date much as a teen…lol).
I'm so sorry that scary movies make your butthole hurt! Definitely stay away from them then. :-)B xxx
Are you afraid of therapy? ;)LOL, totally joking.
This is quite a list! I have many of these fears, too!Visiting from Mama Kat's!
It probably looks like a lot typed out, but I bet that if we all listed our fears the list would be that long too.Except for the opening the bottle of wine thing. Just get over that one. It will be better in the long run.Oh and I'm totally freaked out by moths too. TOTALLY. Jeremiah thinks it's ridiculous but AHHHH!!!
I'm afraid I'll never catch up on all the blogs I missed when I took a day or two off to visit real live people…
Your list is extensive! Really complete. I think I would copy your list exactly : ) And PS you are not dum : ) You are a Brilliant Speller : )
Being afraid of dreaming of teeth and then someone dies is like Pheobe on Friends when she goes to the dentist and is worried someone will die. :o) Too funny!
Your teeth dream is really freaky! Someone dies whenever you have that dream???? That IS scary!
Well, you know I'm afraid of mice. Diddo on losing my hair — it started to thin out years ago and it's gotten so thin I've actually considered those Hair Club commercials. And I'd be afraid of losing my mind if I still had it to lose.
I'm with you. Afraid I've already lost my mind and no one wants to tell me.
I too am afraid of driving… and I'm afraid I will go crazy and never know it.
Moths don't scare me but spiders do.And the fear of teenage years makes me glad I have a son. 🙂
Just breathe Darlin' Your daughter WILL be a teenager! It will be wonderful when you can borrow her shoes!!I'm afraid of being taken out of someone's blogroll and that actually happened. I noticed it today.I'm afraid of being judged. I'm afraid that people won't like me for speaking my mind.I'm not really afraid of anything else.Big hugs!!
For your first fear, the itch you can't scratch. You should invest in a back scratcher. 2 bucks at the craft store checkout is where I found mine. Well, it's really for my husband. I got tired of him using wall corners like a bear and forks…
That's a pretty impressive list! And like you, I hate the teeth dreams too! Yuck!Visiting from Mama Kat's blog!~ Jenniferhttp://thetoyboxyears.blogspot.com/
Wow. I'm afraid you have a lot of fears! Deep breaths….
If it makes you feel any better, I'm afraid of ladybugs.
LOL on the scary movies!! I don't like them either – but I haven't noticed if they make my butthole hurt or not. I don't like them because I obsess about the stuff that happens in them, and if it could happen in real life, and if the bad guy is under my bed (I make hubby check).
I can so relate!! I'm afraid of everything, and my fears are very specific and very possible (at least in my own screwed up mind). Today I'm afraid that everything WebMD tells me is true, which means I have about 57 minutes left to live.
I am so insanely terrified of rats and mice that even reading the word "mice" caused a spontaneous eruption of goosebumps on my skin. now i made it even worse by mentioning rats.:freaking out:
Took a hiatus from blogging but I'm back! You put my button on your site! I'm flattered babe!!! Thanks so much!I love your posts from your writers workshop! I love reading them!We share many of the same fears… thats kind of comforting to know that i'm not alone. The teeth falling out dreams freak me out too! My abuela says that if it hurts when they fall out than its someone close to you that is going to die!
Don't worry about the itch not scratchable because of stiffness. That is why they invented back scratchers. {*grin*]
Referring to the 5th one down: If this is it, it ain't all that bad, is it?
You nailed it on #1. I'm afraid to lose my flexibily and not be able to wipe my own butt. Ever seen those long-handled-butt-wiper-stick-things at the Medical Supply Store? I think they have a "claw" on the end…..now THAT'S scary.
I love that you are afraid of going crazy! Only because it makes me feel, well, not so crazy, that it's my fear too!I always joke to my husband that he should make sure to tell the kids I loved them when I lose my mind. =)
I'm afraid I could have written this same list!Love your blog!!!
Hair highlights is a trend that looks good on every woman and never goes out of fashion. Regardless of your length, cut or personal style, highlights brighten up your face, increase your confidence and make you look more polished and younger. Highlights are so popular because for many women their natural hair color can look flat and with age, grey hairs begin to pop up.
