Everyone is always talmbout how money doesn’t grow on trees and that’s true, but guess what can grow on trees? Wishes. I know because I’ve seem them grow on The Wishing Tree in San Francisco. According to its creator, “The Wishing Tree’s mission is to hold a space for unspoken wants, dreams, stories and to spread joy.” I’d say that it most definitely succeeds in its mission.
I am a huge believe in the power of wishing and especially in the power of collective wishing. I believe in it so much that I do weekly Wednesday Wishes post on this blog where I wish for what I want and I also wish on behalf of others. It’s a beautiful thing when I get a message telling me that one of those wishes came true.

That’s a lovely concept — the wishing tree. I wish I’d seen it when I visited back in 2015.

What a wonderful concept. When did it get started? Next time I am in SF, I will have to make a wish here.
