I just got a new to me iphone 4. Do any of you have any cool free photo apps to recommend? I have Instagram, Hipstamatic, and Pudding Camera. Anything else you can suggest? I just love taking photos with my phone. I like it so much that I’ve even left the house without my point and shoot or DSLR on occasion.
Anyway, I thought I would share an unmasked picture of a member of the Unknown family. This is Unknown Cha Cha. She lives with us and belongs to Unknown Tio a.k.a Unknown BIL.

All the apps I mentioned are free and I’m getting nothing for telling you about them.
My family and I are all about free lately. Finances are tight, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. One of the best free things we do is visit the library. It’s great. Put Pie loves the children’s area, we get a nice walk going there, we can check out videos and books. Such a great resource. They even have weekly events for the kids.
Speaking of Put Pie, she cracked me up today in a bloggy way. You see, (I know it’s hard to believe) but her real name is not “Put Pie”. She has a first, middle, and last name. Unknown Papi was quizzing her and asked her what her first name is and she answered correctly, then he asked her what her last name is and she also answered correctly, then he asked her what her middle name is and she shouted, “Put Pie!” She didn’t understand why we were laughing so hard and we had to spend some time convincing her that Put Pie is not actually her middle name.

I don’t have an iphone but I love the pictures they take so I’m looking forward to getting one. Buuut the most amazing thing I’ve seen for iphones are lenses you can put on them, the pictures come out amazing with ones like the fish eye lense. You can find them on photojojo.com I’ve already scoped them out for gifts and when I get an iphone.
We have an affinity for chihuahuas here at my house (we have 3 C. mixes) Your BIL’s dog is cute.

My 9 month old son thinks his name is NO! so put pie is an excellent middle name 🙂
Perhaps when papi quizzes next time he should include super bloggy nickname as a quiz q.
We’re also big on free in our house… I love taking the kids to free outdoor concerts and park events…

Instsagram is my favorite because it let’s you play with any photo, even if it wasn’t taken with the program. Super fun!

About a year ago Dominic negotiated with me about what I am allow and not allow to call him. There is only one nickname I’m allowed to use. Others get an unhappy look from the boy. It’s pretty funny. 🙂
I’m thinking “Put Pie” is a nickname that will stay with her for a long time…..and it will give her a story to tell about her Mami when she has her own blog someday.
I have been using the app GLMPS lately, it’s fun, takes a 10 second video before the picture…

My daughter has two apps that I love, yes it’s her phone but I love the apps 🙂 One is a GPS thing. I can ask her for directions to anywhere, as long as she’s in the car. This app actually detects where we are and gets us to our destination. The other app is a walking app, it tracks how far we walk and how many calories we’ve burned. I love hearing “you have burned 150 calories”

‘Survival Wiki How’ – I think that’s the name of the App! It’s how to survive everything you can think of, hurricanes, floods, running out of ice at a party. Don’t forget ‘Hanging with Friends’ – I’m not a game player but I love playing this game with my husband.

And that’s adorable about Put Pie… but it could be worse. My ex husband has a nephew who doesn’t know that his name isn’t really Toot-toot.
Yay!!! I LOVE hearing people say they love the library – – – especially now that I WORK in one. Also, I HATE hearing naysayers like my hubby saying “paper books are a thing of the past – – – soon you won’t be able to get one!”

I loved Hipstamatic when I used an iPhone. Now I moved over to an Android phone, meh, I miss my Hipstamatic pictures!

It feels silly to say, but I love my phone too.
Serendipidous – was just on AT&T (only carrier that gets reception here – there’s no choice, was happy with Verizon in Bay Area…) last night looking at the iphone 4 and trying to figure out if I could upgrade sans fees. I’m liking the colors on Histamatic better than Instagram above – let us know as you use them which you favor.
I still do not have an iphone, either..I feel like such a dork. I will be getting one soon though, my carrier is going to be offering buy one get one right at my upgrade time!
