Love the dove and the butterfly.  But what is especially neat is that the mural was a project of students in an art class.

In a tiny town near here are two huge murals that cover the sides of city buildings.  They depict everything this area is known for and are quite beautifully done.  They were the brain child of the high school art teacher and she elicited the help of everyone – – – tiny tots all the way to the seniorist of the seniors.   Maybe one day I’ll think to share those murals at SIMC.

Cool mural.  You do a good job of finding colorful and interesting street art throughout San Francisco.  Makes me feel like I missed something when I lived out that way.  Like I should have opened my eyes better.

I love the mosaics! Wish I could put some like that in my wall at the house. And seriously, I lived there for 5 years how is it that I missed all these sights? Just goes to show you have to stop and smell the roses and take your time to look and SEE!
