On 4/17/2009, I posted Today is the Day and Unknown Mami™ was born.
A few days later, I wrote in my journal…
I have a dream that one day strangers will be reading my blog and enjoying it.
Thank you for making my dream come true and most of all thank you for not being strangers.
The rest of the month will include more giveaways than normal because birthdays and gifts just go so well together, don’t you think? You stopping by and reading is the best gift you could ever give me. Lucky me!

You’ve just reminded me that my blogiversary is coming up the end of this month. Each year, I think “I should do something special to celebrate, like a giveaway!” Each year, I forget, and the day goes by unmentioned. Or maybe I’m just cheap. No, I’m more forgetful than I am cheap.

Hey I was wondering if you could do me a favor? There is a group of girls in Arizona who make scrapbooks for Wish Kids. They put together a super nice book for Joey using the photos that I took while we were in Orlando. Crops of Luv does this for free, even shipped the book for free, which might weigh around 10 pounds! Anyway, they are getting requests from people who only speak Spanish (and only speak French) and are having problems fulfilling scrapbook requests from these individuals. On their Facebook page, they are asking if anyone can translate English to Spanish or English to French. I’m guessing you can translate the English to Spanish part. I’m just wondering if you’d have the time?
