Elote Pizza Combines Mexican Street Corn and Pizza

Hola Chulas y Chulos! My flying chancla and I are over here salivating because we are hungry and as we were going through the internet looking for things to share with you we came across elote pizza. Say what?!

That’s like if one person was walking down the street chompin’ on elote and bumped into another person chompin’ on pizza and then had a conversation something like this…

Pizza-eater: Hey, you got your elote on my pizza!
Elote-nibbler: You got pizza on my elote!”
Pizza-eater and Elote-nibbler: What?
(Pizza-eater and Elote-nibbler try the new creation)
Pizza-eater and Elote-nibbler: (simultaneously) Delicious.
Voiceover: Two great tastes that taste great together.

To be honest, at first my chancla and I weren’t all that excited about the combination, but then we saw this video and were all like…

Mmmm, cheese on crust! Mmmm, elote!

According to Rose City Pizza’s menu “The Elote” is topped with Mozzarella, parmesan cheese, buttered corn kernels, spicy mayo, chili powder and cilantro.

You can also add some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to your pie.

Why choose if you don’t have to?

Or if you can’t decide between elote or your usual meats…

…ya don’t have to.

Oh and apparently Rose City Pizza isn’t the only place cookin’ up this kind of pie.

Vinnie’s Pizzeria in Brooklyn has a version too.
